Grandmother dies in Powell County ATV crash

A 70-year-old woman died in an ATV crash in Powell County, according to Kentucky State Police.

Deloris Kay Huff, of Clay City, was riding an ATV on Cat Creek Road with her three grandchildren on Tuesday, Sept. 8, when the ATV left the roadway and overturned in a ditch.

Huff along with the three juveniles were taken to the hospital, where Huff was pronounced dead upon arrival.

The three children remain in the hospital, with one in critical condition. The other two children are expected to be released today.
