Chemical exposure at Frankfort manufacturer sends 25 to be treated

Franklin County authorities report that 25 people are being treated for a chemical exposure at a “local facility.” The fire department was dispatched to Fortune Drive on Tuesday regarding a hazardous materials incident. Motorcyclist dies from injuries sustained in May 15th crash

The motorcyclist who was critically injured in a May 15 crash near Jacobson Park involving an SUV died in the early hours of Wednesday morning from his injuries. At 1:43 a.m. on May 20, the Fayette County Coroner’s Office pronounced the motorcyclist dead from multiple blunt force injuries. He was identified as 41-year-old Andrew Glasscock of Georgetown. Kentucky AG’s office receives over 150 complaints on Election Day

The Kentucky Attorney General’s Office had a busy Election Day. According to numbers released by the office, 154 complaints regarding election law violations or voting irregularities were received while polls were open during the Tuesday primary. Thirty-two were received after the polls closed. Prior to the polls opening, the AG’s office received close to 300 complaints. Voters from Fayette County filed 29 complaints with the AG’s office. Authorities searched a Danville property in connection with a 1992 missing person cold case after two people were arrested and charged. The Boyle County Sheriff’s Department, Emergency Management and public works were on scene at 148 Spring Valley. Two people were injured in a two-vehicle crash yesterday at Oak Hill Road and Grand Central Boulevard, with one requiring helicopter transport to Lexington. A London woman has been arrested for a murder stemming from a fatal drug overdose. The Laurel County Sheriff’s Office reported that 37-year-old Courtney K. Boone was arrested Monday morning for allegedly selling fentanyl in 2025 to an unnamed 26-year-old who later died after consuming it through a meth pipe.
