Person killed in overnight hit-and-run in Lexington
Lexington Police are investigating after a pedestrian was hit and killed overnight. According to the Lexington Police Department, officers were called to the 600 block of High Street around 4:00 a.m. this morning for a hit-and-run call. Upon arrival, police found the pedestrian dead but tell us the driver fled the scene. The collision reconstruction unit is now investigating the crash. Credit: LEXNews
