Paul McCartney Extends Record For Most U.K. No 1 Albums With ‘The Boys Of Dungeon Lane’

Paul McCartney has extended his lead as the most successful albums act of all time on the U.K. Official Albums Chart, adding yet another No. 1 to his tally with The Boys of Dungeon Lane.

Paul now boasts of an incredible 24 No. 1 albums across a career spanning seven decades.

Breaking down the numbers, Paul has scored 15 No. 1 LPs as a member of The Beatles, two with Wings, six with his solo projects and one alongside Linda McCartney to become the most prolific U.K. albums chart-topper in history.

Speaking about this achievement, Paul said, “Guess what? Our album is Number One! Can’t get much higher. And we are well chuffed.
