2027 SEC Softball Schedule Announced

The Kentucky Softball in conjunction with the Southeastern Conference announced the 2027 SEC softball schedule Wednesday afternoon.

As has been the case the last two seasons, the SEC will play eight three-game series beginning mid-March and run through the second weekend in May before a conference tournament from May 11-15. Inside that nine-week window will be one bye week for all SEC teams.

Kentucky will play two series against teams that reached the 2026 Women’s College World Series, four teams that reached the NCAA Super Regionals and seven teams that reached the NCAA Regional round last year.

The Wildcats will open SEC play March 20-22 at John Cropp Stadium in Lexington against the LSU Tigers, the first-of-four home series which include LSU, South Carolina, Arkansas and Texas A&M. South Carolina will visit Lexington April 9-11 with the Razorbacks in town April 23-25. Senior weekend for UK will be April 30-May 2 as Kentucky plays host to Texas A&M at JCS.

Kentucky will open SEC play on the road in week three of SEC play with a trip to Oxford, Mississippi on March 25-27 and follow that up with a trip to Columbia, Missouri as part of a back-to-back road stretch April 2-4. Kentucky will make the trip to The Swamp to face the Gators beginning April 16-18 and end its road season May 6-8 in Starkville, Mississippi as UK faces off against Mississippi State, who was in the 2026 WCWS.

The 2027 SEC Softball Tournament will be held in Madison, Alabama from May 11-15, a neutral site for the first time in decades.

Kentucky begins its fall schedule on Sunday at 1 p.m. ET vs. Louisville in a fall game against the Cards that will last 10 innings. Admission is free to all patrons and concession stands will not be operational, so fans are encouraged to bring their own food and drinks into the facility with alcohol prohibited. Seating is first-come, first-served.
