House fire in Lexington displaces 8 people

Eight people have been displaced after a Lexington house fire according to officials with the Lexington Fire Department.

Officials say crews were dispatched to the 2000 block of Geranium Lane just after 4:40 p.m. Monday.

Crews located and extinguished a fire inside the kitchen, but the result is 2 adults, and 6 children have been displaced by the fire. No injuries were reported.
