A man is fighting for his life after being hit by a truck in Louisville’s Russell neighborhood Saturday evening.
Aaron Ellis, a spokesman for Louisville Metro Police, said officers responded to the area of S 28th Street and West Broadway around 7:15 p.m. on a report of a man hit by a vehicle.
The man was taken to UofL Hospital with critical life-threatening injuries, police said.
According to police, the man was walking on a crosswalk in the area when he was hit by a truck that was traveling east on Broadway. The driver failed to stop and continued making a right turn on S 28th Street.
