A dismembered body and apparent cooked body parts were all found inside a Northern Kentucky home after troopers say they were called to the scene.
After an hours-long investigation, Kentucky State Police announced Thursday that Torilena May Fields, 32, was arrested in connection with the crime.
According to Kentucky State Police, a blood-covered Fields was removed from the home on Brierly Ridge after she refused to come out.
Troopers with KSP Post 6 said they received a call around 12:30 p.m. Wednesday about a deceased woman on Brierly Ridge in Robertson County.
The call came from a man who said he arrived at the home to do work for the owner of the property, KSP wrote in their citation.
The man told troopers he was at the property the day before and saw the victim and Fields.
“On [Oct. 8], [the witness] stated Torilena was casting spells on them and was being confrontational,” troopers wrote in the citation.
The man told troopers he knocked on the home’s door, but no one answered.
He went searching for the property owner and while doing so, he made a grisly discovery.
After noticing drag marks in the grass, the man followed them and was led to a dismembered body behind the home, according to KSP’s citation.
The arms, legs, and head were all removed from the victim’s body, according to KSP.
According to the citation, troopers found “multiple body parts and organs” inside of a folded mattress next to the body.
Troopers wrote that they made another grim discovery inside of the home.
They found what appeared to be cooked human body parts in a still-warm pot in the oven of the kitchen, KSP wrote in the citation.
